“The 1915 Hupmobile
has been rightly named the ‘car of the Canadian family’ ”

It was a new arrival
on the Hamilton automobile market, and received both a large advertisement and
an accompanying article.
The auto was a
notable one:
“It is a highly
specialized, individualized motor car which gives you the maximum of service
and a ‘Made in Canada’ product, a large factory with a capacity of 5000 cars a
year being in full operation at Windsor, Ont.
“The 1915 Hupmobile,
which now on the market, sells for $1400
complete.”1

Prospective buyers of
the Hupmobile, or just the curious were invited to see it :
“The Sherman Auto
garage are distributors for the counties of Welland, Haldimand, Wentworth,
Brant, Norfolk and Halton, with headquarters at Hamilton.
“The different models
of the Hupmobile are now on display in their showrooms, Sherman avenue and
Barton streets.
“Those interested in
the purchase of a car are given a cordial invitation to cal and see the
Hupmoble, or phone 2006 and ask that the 1915 literature be mailed to their
address.
“Demonstrations given
on request.”1
